Arteta made four changes which helped them level as substitute Mikel Merino scored in the 84th to level the score from a goal mouth scramble after a corner. Two minutes after, Matheus Cunha fired in a low shot from outside the box to give United a 3-2 lead and they were able to see the match out, the win moves United into the top four.
Chelsea continued their impressive start under Liam Rosenoir as the beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park to climb above liverpool. Estevao gave Chelsea the lead after a brilliant individual run from midfield before firing past Dean Henderson in goal. Chelsea doubled their lead through Joao Pedro after he ran into an Estevao pass before rounding Adam Wharton and slotting between Henderson legs.
